INTERSTELLAR
We are but star dusts.
With millions of tiny particles that travel within space, they coalesced to become where we are, and eventually who we are. It’s more press- ing than ever that we introspect our relationship to the environment and to push ourselves as a brand to release meaningful products responsibly.
This season, we further examine how technology can aid responsible design, and how this could relate to the DANZ woman. We explore what it means to live and work in a metropolitan city such as New York City as a young professional and how her choice of wardrobe carries her and represents her. We studied hundreds of innovative tex- tiles before finally introducing 4 main categories of products based on the materials used.
Keeping to a subdued color palette of black white and silver. Retaining the sexy and modern appeal of the DANZ aesthetic, each design is injected with further meaning maximizing the potential of textile. The ‘Interstellar’ collection highlights the functionality of each garment, allowing the product to speak for itself.
The SEACELL Collection
This collection is made from SEACELL, a patented technology that conforms to the OEKO-TEX standard 100. Production takes place in a closed loop with zero chemical waste. The material is sustainable, biodegradable and contains natural Vitamins A&E and antioxidants to reduce skin damage by the urban environment.
The SEACELL Collection is 100% biodegradable.
The Merino Wool Sports Collection
The collection of sports items are made with Italian imported anti-UV sports fabric bonded on the inside with 100% Merino Wool. Merino wool is revolutionary as a natural fibre to be temperature regulating, sweat-wicking and antimicrobial.
The Sweatshirt Evening Collection
We have developed a collection of evening wear including tailored evening gowns, evening jackets and pants using washed sweatshirt material, a perfect embodiment of style and comfort.
The Protein Leather Tailored Collection
The tailored leather pieces are made from Protein Leather that has a softer hand touch, longer lifespan and higher comfort by better tem- perature and humidity transport as compared to regular pleather.
